We wished we had our bikes, lovely managed trails along the Genesee River.There are 100 foot waterfalls, flowers, birds , trees very peaceful.

Well worth a bike ride from Charlotte to Maplewood Park. Great scenery. Very cool thing many in Rochester have not done.

The trail is 24 miles long and follows the Genesee River. We walked on it near Ontario Beach Park. This section is about a year old and nice to walk on.

We usually visit Lower Falls off of Lake Avenue. Only because we are familiar with that side of town. But be prepared to walk.. and very steeply down hill then back up. The teen kids love it.. once your down to the bottom the view...More

this place is really a hidden jewel. you can walk, hike or take bike ride. the nature is beautiful but also the sites are nice. don't miss!!

Whether you wish to go to the brewery, picnic or stroll about this is a local gem. Architecturally historic and profound, the Genesee River walk and good weather presents the visitor with lots of potential fun and activities.

Trail runs from Charlotte to downtown. Some parts are a boardwalk near and sometimes over the river offering great views.

Definitely there are hotels along the trail if you are in the city of Rochester. In other areas I am not sure.
