If you're into this type of thing, it's a good place. It's totally showing it's age at this point but this is a good old fashioned planetarium. Great for our kids who are super-into space. They also do some fun music-type shows. Check out their...More

Planetariums are hard to find these days. This was one of the reasons we came to Rochester for the weekend. We enjoyed the narration, and the experience. Building is a little dated, but felt like we were kids again looking up in the night sky....More

A trip to the Stasenburgh planetarium is always enjoyable no matter what age of your guests. My girls love it here and it's always a new experience so do their grandparents.

Not the biggest museum in town, but well appointed and fun for kids 3-12. The gift shop has some cool and unique items. The IMAX theater is the best feature for folks of all ages.

The facility is top of the line Planetarium, pick the right show, some are geared to children some to adults. We learned alot about Jupiter during our visit. Next door to the Science museum so you can combine the trip.

Honestly this is the best part of the RMSC. Be sure to check out times and suggested ages for their shows since I doubt a two year old would enjoy a Pink Floyd show (not judging though). Kick your feet up and enjoy the show...More

First of all, the facilities, equipment, price, comfort, etc. are top notch. Our party was grandpa, father and 3 sons, 3 to 11. The billed show was "Other Worlds Like Ours" about our efforts to find other habitable planets. Since we only found one, there...More
