I was very impressed with the elephant and lion exhibits. These are relatively new changes at the zoo and are certainly worth visiting. I especially liked being able to go inside the large elephant housing facility. Great planning went into this building. Great outing for families.

The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because we came specifically for my daughter to see the penguins and they were all huddled up in one corner. I just wish it was set up so that one could see them (like in the Monterey Bay Aquarium where there is a little hideaway area you can come in and... More

Always a great time at the zoo - a good day trip and for all ages. Kids seem to like going a few times a year. Thanks for being great!

An local zoo with all the trimmings. The wild cats are a focal point to the zoo but simply stroll about and viewing all the animals will be very pleasant indeed.

We enjoyed visiting the Seneca Park Zoo in the winter this year, instead of during the summer months. The temperature really wasn't that chilly, and we found that many of the animals that are negatively affected by the heat (such as the wolves and the tigers) were active, prancing back and forth for people to see instead of hiding in... The seneca park zoo is a great entry level zoo. Younger children will greatly enjoy. The animals are older. Not all animals are present such as giraffes. It is a small intimate zoo. No animal human interaction as other larger zoo's. They do have food stands and seating. Off street parking. On very warm days most of the animals will... More

Great place to bring the kids and grandkids It is a very nice, clean, well-maintained zoo. The animal environments are large and as natural as they can be at a zoo. Food choices aren't the greatest. I'd say pack your own.

We have a membership which makes us inclined to go often. The grandchildren love going. There's something a little different every time. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. It's a nice size zoo that you can see entirely in one visit.

The Seneca Park Zoo is a great asset for the Rochester area. The zoo has changed its' philosophy over the years and has adapted to the times. The new display areas give the animals much more room and provide more natural habitat to live in. Would definitely recommend.
