I grew up playing in Highland Park. We visit every year for the Lilac Festival. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Famous for its lilacs, hidden lanes of rhododendrons, and exotic plantings of all kinds. Walk the pleasant open lawns, towering forests, and hillsides rolling with giant bushes.

I enjoy going here more in the winter for sledding! However the park is beautiful and very relaxing to walk around in the spinr/fall and summer months. The lilac festival is also nice that they have here in the spring
