What a sweet spot! The gentle hills, the grassy fields, the stunning views, the gorgeous gazebo! All make for a gentle stroll. Walking on Poet's Walk was the fine ending to a lovely outing with another family. We ranged from ages 8 to 62. It's...More

Poets Walk is lovely but watch your footing. We were walking the trail by the river when wet leaves, mud and my foot getting caught under a tree root sent me to a face dive. Hit hard and fast! 6 stitches to my upper lip,...More

This gentle walk takes you through meadows and woods. On the way gazebos and benches provide places to rest and to enjoy the views. This path is open to dogs that are leashed. Parking is adequate though on good weather days it can get crowded....More

A short level walk will bring you to an overlook of the Hudson, shared by joggers, dog walkers and families. Adequate parking and shade when necessary and good areas to share a picnic. Trail gets a little dicier and downhill if you want to walk...More

We took a walk till the end of the gravel stone pavement, nice and quiet, we caught the sunset as well. It's winter now, which is already scenic, so imagine how beautiful it gets in the summer

Has trails that lead to overviews of the Hudson river. The shortest hike is about a quarter of a mile one way. There is an info center at the begining of the trail explaining the fauna and flora. There are also bathrooms.

The easy to walk gravel trail winds slightly downhill, very popular for walking and exercising with family and dogs. Good parking and even terrain makes this an excellent and easy walk with great views of the Hudson with plenty of places to linger and picnic....More

Short hike through woods and fields with gorgeous Hudson Valley views. Nice place to get away for an hour, alone or with a quiet companion.

shared by the Delano estate, FDR's Mom, and the Livingston estate (yes, those pre revolution folks) that dips down to the Hudson River shore through stately old trees. Long enough to offer privacy most of the way. Pets allowed and ample parting and no charge.

Wonderful rolling path that moves between woodland and open areas. On hot days this gives a great break from the heat as you move under the tree cover. The views of the river are amazing.
