Great museum for a field trip. Although smaller than the NYC museums, the collection is outstanding, especially the Hudson River School paintings, plus a rare early Georgia o'Keefe. For our purposes,an excellent museum without the time and hassle to go to NYC

Did a 20 minutes walk through while waiting for my son. This was on a Wednesday around lunchtime in September and I was the only one the museum (other than the museum guard). It was quiet and lovely.
