The Walkway is a great vantage point to see the beauty of the Hudson Valley. Great for all ages, people with dogs, for those on bicycles. Whatever you choose.

Went today and it was beautiful. Parking was easy. There's a shop on both ends for souvenirs and a small snack bar with COLD drinks. $2 For water-- that's not that bad. Do not miss while in Poughkeepsie.

I believe they told us no food during the winter. The gift shops on either end are only open in good weather in the winter, depends on if a volunteers want to be there.
