The Mystère is the first passenger boat to call Poughkeepsie homeport in more than 2 generations. Her new homeport is located in the heart of New York’s Hudson River Valley at the City of Poughkeepsie’s Victor C. Waryas Park. The dock is within walking distance to Metro North’s train station, the Walkway Over The Hudson, which is the longest pedestrian bridge in the world, and only minutes from the FDR Home and Library, Vanderbilt Mansion and so much more!We excel at group cruises and because we are a family run business you can be assured of the personalized service that is our hallmark. With our flexibility in service, attention to detail and our wide range of cruise options we can create a cruise package to suite your groups needs and our planner will work with you personally to create an itinerary that is sure to please all of your guests. For those lucky passengers who select a lunch or dinner cruise, our food service is the finest you will find on any tour boat on the Hudson. Meals are created by chefs from the Culinary Institute of America, and served by white gloved staff that will tend to all of your needs. So come aboard the 60 ft, double decked Mystère and experience the excitement of cruising under towering bridges spanning the storied Hudson River, glide past Gilded Age mansions and feel the cares and pressures of our hectic world melt away as we depart from the new homeport in Poughkeepsie.

After seeing a 2:30 Tuesday public cruise online at their website and trying for hours to get them to answer either of their lines (845) 345 8510 or (855) 266-4775 we decided to just drive there and get tickets. The address listed in the website 29 North Water Street, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 is a parking lot and no one had... More

This cruise was a big disappointment for me and my friends. We were told the staff was short handed - we did not realize that would mean getting our own drinks, being served 2 out of three of the advertised courses, cold food. I have emailed and called Empire Cruises but have received no response back. Very disappointed; will not... More

Took the 11:30 cruise, buying tickets through Trip Adviser was very easy. They had our names when we got there but print out the purchase just in case. The boat was nice, nothing fancy. There was a birthday party aboard with many little kids. The captain announced at the beginning of the trip to mind your children and be respectful... More

My family and I have been treated better at fast food restaurants. First let me start by how RUDE the staff was to my elderly disabled parents who could not make it to the top of the ship of this dinner cruise. 8 of us went for a 50th birthday party, however, the party they had upstairs was more important... We did a dinner cruise last year. Cruise was great, but the food wasn't that great. I just think its hard to have food that was prepared ahead of time and delivered to the ship and then served later on.

Ok but not great. Everything struck me as average. Commentary was mostly canned. We waited a half hour for another tour bus to arrive which shortened our trip a bit. Didn't think that was fair. Great river. Must be something better to do.

Cruised an hour up the Hudson from Poughkeepsie and an hour back. Captain and crew told us about the highlights along the way, regaled us with fun stories and generally made sure we had a great time. Boat is clean and up-to-date. Sit outside on the upper deck for the best views and a good tan. Had a ball.

We only had two and a half days in Poughkeepsie so we booked to go out on the cruise on our last morning. Unfortunately due to a lack of bookings, the time slot we booked was cancelled so they emailed in advance and we rebooked for Thursday morning instead. Captain Jeffrey was very accommodating and helpful in this respect. We... More
