A quaint train station go there to walk or run the rail trail. The views on the trail are amazing . I surely would not make a special trip just to go see the station it is beautifully renovated but go for the trail

The best part of visiting the historic Piermont Train Station was being regaled with fascinating stories about the significance of the place by a Tour Guide who took us back in time and mesmerized us with her story-telling. Walking around the tiny station was interesting...More

There is no charge but then there's not much to see. We got involved in an escorted guide. The guy told us more about the village than the railway. Should I go again I would rather meander round and read the info on the walls.....More

Train Station was closed for renovation but Erie Path was lovely. Although some muddy spots, nice leveled little place to walk with no hills. Dog friendly so be careful where you step not everyone picks up after their dog. Such a shame!

The Train Station is magical - it's like a journey back in time. Many of the pieces in the station are from a bygone era that not only educates but gives us an appreciation of what it was like "back in the day".

Great trek, never a problem other than the weather and an occasional rude biker or jogger. The trail, which is not paved, could be better kep, especially at the Sparkill/Piermont segment. A couple of benches along the way might be welcomed by elderly travalers. The...More

This small two-story train station is beautifully preserved and from time to time local people give lectures on personalities and events of the past. The town surrounding the station is filled with interesting houses, well worth stopping for a few moments whether on the trail...More

The Piermont Train Station is truly a magical place. Nested high above the town in the woods and weeds (google spelled) it offers a glimpse of life as it was over a 100 years ago. The lovingly maintained two story (minuscule) building actually hosted a...More

I took 'before' photographs for the Library of Congress historical bldgs. survey. What a mess ! And a crew of us scrubbed storm windows so filthy one could not see through them. Piermont neighbours did heavy work clearing the hillside, and eventually, after much physical...More
