This place was absolutely surprising. All of the wine was fabulous. We ended up walking away with a $30 Riesling and $35 Pinot Noir. It's a steep price for us but worth it. Bobbi helped us and she was very charming. She made recommendations on...More

Was here a few years ago and remembered how good the wines were. They still are. White wines are always the strength of Finger Lakes wineries, and that's true here as well. Hostess was pleasant and informative. My wife and I loved the dry riesling,...More

This is a small tasting room, friendly staff and nice scenery. The guys threw the baseball around on the lawn while the girls tasted. Price was $5/6 wines. The Good Karma was really good and they donate a portion to a cause. Very informative tasting.

Note: This rating is not based on the wine since everyone has different tastes. This was my first time at Red Tail and I enjoyed everything from driving up the drive (through the grapes which are labeled) to the wine to the friendly, knowledgeable staff....More

Love the fact that this winery is committed to sustainable practices but the wines in general are not to my taste. Good Karma supports a local food bank but just too sweet for me. Tasting room is quite small. Person who poured the tasting just...More

Another winery that we enjoyed recommended visiting Red Tail Ridge. It was a bit out of our way, but we followed their recommendation and glad we did. We enjoyed the wines. The service was great, as was the depth of knowledge from the person who...More

A group of 9 of us on a bachelorette party. We went there because the bride loves red tail hawks. The woman doing the tasting was rather rude and the tasting area was so hot, several of us walked out. The wines were nothing to...More

Hello 4pattyc, We are sorry to hear about your negative experience. As a small-sized tasting room that doesn't take limos or buses, large groups often overwhelm our small tasting bar with limited staff. Rude behavior though, is not acceptable and will be addressed with our...More

Red Tail wines are among the best Finger Lakes wines. The 606 Riesling was my favorite Riesling of three days of tasting. Well worth visiting.

We enjoyed this visit and our server was an absolute hoot. Very knowledgeable and kept us on a "strict" regimen of when to cleanse our palates between tastings.

I love this pet friendly winery. The wine was really good and the service was friendly. There are treats for your pet and part of the proceeds from the Good Karma wine goes to local shelters. Next time I go I'll be bringing my dog.More

Kristina, We are so happy you were able to stop in! Our Good Karma donations actually go to the local food banks, another worthy cause, that we have been able to raise over $27,000 for since it begun! We do however, collect donations on behalf...More
