Pindar Vineyards encompasses more than 500 scenic acres. We grow 17 varieties of grapes, crafting them into some 23 varietals and proprietary blends. We produce 70,000 cases of wine a year, making us the largest vineyard on Long Island. But at heart we are still a family with a personal touch in every aspect of our business.

This was our 3rd stop on a wine tour we had booked for a 40TH Birthday. We had a great time. Matt at the first bar was professional, fun and knowledgeable about all the wine. He managed to keep it all together with our group of 11 women tasting different things and he didn't skip a beat. He wasn't hard... More

A great selection of wines and definitly one of the largest wineries on the north fork. The server was very knowledgeable about the wines and gave alot of pointers in what to taste for and helped us become more aware of the different flavors.

I had been to Pindar before in July and completely disliked the atmosphere. Some of the staff was downright rude and it felt more like a 20something's bar rather than a winery. They did however have good wines. So after a stop at a different winery we stopped just to pick up some bottles and it seemed like we were... More

Driving out to the east end of Long Island is always a pleasant drive. Farm stands, wineries, marina's. We even saw deer crossing into the farm land. It is as a perfect day in November sun wa shinning band was playing and plenty of wine and even beer to try. Refs white or rose they have a very good selection... More

I haven't hit them all. Of the 10 we did visit, this was by far our least favorite. Aside from the strange bar set up, and herds of people, the wine was absolutely terrible. Don't waste your time unless you're looking club scene

This was the third in our locations for our wine tour. I had actually been here 8 years ago. A lot has changed. I enjoyed the Autumn Gold wine and they did offer beers for the men in the group that had been patient with all the wines. It was a welcome addition. Some of the things to keep in... More

Hi, Maggie- Thank you so much for sharing your review. We are glad you enjoyed the wine and sorry you felt a "bit crowded in" during your visit. That day was the perfect storm of visitors inside, as it was literally storming outside. The Damianos family would like to invite you back. Please reach out to me directly via email... More

We stopped at Pindar because of their Trip Advisor rating and were terribly dissappointed. We sat inside and sampled two flights of wines. While some of the whites were average, we could not drink any of the reds we chose. There is very much a bar atmosphere, not a winery atmosphere. We were surprised by the number of people at... Stopped here on our recent tour of the north fork for some of their sparkling wine. Used to be delicious. Sadly this time it was old and we had to change the bottle 2x before finally asking for our money back. Too crowded now too and very loud. Won't be coming back anymore. It's changed and for me...not for the... More

Wish I had something a little more exciting to say, but the place was well......average. If you visit you notice how nice the scenery is and the decor of the salesroom is rustic. What you will not find is serious wine people or people-friendly hosts. I'm saying go, because the wines are very very good, but don't expect to find... More
