This was our second stop on our wine tour over the weekend. Due to extremely bad weather and large crowds, we were placed in the cottage on the property for our tasting. What a fantastic time we had! George was our server and ensured that we were treated as special guests of the house. The wines were very good. My... More

You can stop for a wine tasting or a glass of wine. There were four of us and we were advised that since we all were interested in a glass of the same wine, it would be less expensive to purchase a bottle rather than individual glasses. We appreciated that information. The wine we selected was very good and since... More

Excellent stop along our wine route. A lovely old 'potato' farm with wonderful barn and gardens. The wine was fairly good and the servers were knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. One of the highlights was the taco truck. Some yummy shrimp and lobster taco's hit the spot. Definitely stop here!

Came here for the wine but was taken away by the great people and place. The wines were offered at a local restaurant so I made it a point to come here for their whites. And the whites exceeded my expectations especially the old vine gewurztraminer. Enjoy the time.

Lenz is a great little winery with a lovely staff that gives great descriptions about the wines. Long Island wine, I guess like any wine, can be hit or miss for a lot of people and when we found one our group though was just "meh," the woman tending to our group suggested we eat some of our cheese and... Spent close to an hour there tasting 12- 16 wines. Lost count! Excellent reds. Very knowledgeable server named Sean. I believe. Bought a few bottles. Will go back!

Unfortunately Lenz was our last stop on our vineyards tour. Despite it being the last stop, we were able to taste the subtle flavors in all the wines we tasted. I want to come back here and start here next time. The picnic area is a bit on the small side, not much room for larger groups

Our second visit to Lenz was even more enjoyable than our first one last fall. Lenz is one of the first established wineries on Long Island, so their mature vineyards produce excellent grapes and wines. The winery and tasting room are rustic and warm. Clearly the people running Lenz wish to convey that great wines come from great farming. And... More

Had a great time thanks to Jamie who made our tasting fun. Bought a bottle of Chardonnay very oaky. The winery also had a food truck, music and tables to relax and enjoy you time
