We know the owner who does this as a labor of love. New set of birds, rabbits, butterflies, chickens, California Quail, hedgehogs, and endangered Curassow, Aracari, and many Turacos. They have Tom Turkeys and soon to be released miniature kangaroos. Contrary to other reviews, animals,...More

We found a brochure in the campground directory so we took a chance. This observatory needs funding. It needs direction and lots of TLC. I didn’t feel bad paying the admission price because i really feel they need funding. Bell is a jewel. You can...More

I went here today with my daughter and two small grand children. When we first drove in I thought how unkempt it was, but was hoping all efforts were put into the conservatory. It was dismal. It was Hot and dirty The animals obviously not...More

For several years, I have been taking my college students on a field trip to this magical place. Picture a giant room where the exotic birds and butterflies fly free. Amidst the branches of tropical flora, you can find beautifully camouflaged chameleons, stick bugs and...More

After reading the reviews of this place, we were not sure what to expect. Come to find out, we loved this close encounter with nature's creatures.

The place itself is horrible. It’s filthy, messy, and smelled awful before you even got into the “gift shop”. You couldn’t even see the gift shop from the parking lot, and the only thing directing you towards the place was a small sign that lead...More

Very disturbing. As evident in our photos, this business needs to be shut down and sanitized. It has been investigated more than once. Buildings are in desperate need of maintenance. Animals are in need of rescue. :(

This place was kind of terrifying. Upon pulling in it pretty much looks like an abandoned lot/house/yard right from the start. Being the only ones there should have been a sign. You walk up this strange narrow unkempt walkway and into an entrance room with...More

Don’t bother. Everything was dirty and it smelled terrible. Only spent about 10 minutes inside. Could not stand the smell. Not worth the price of admittance.
