Nassau County is in dire straits financially and the restoration village is suffering. Ed Mangano cancelled the candlelight evenings between Christmas and New Years this year...a big disappointment.

Yes, there are picnic tables at OBVR. We left our food (in a cooler) in our car, and then ate lunch a few hours after arriving.
