    My favourite experience in Santorini
This was my favourite experience during my stay in Santorini! Went for the tasting of 4 wines, which came with a generous portion of breadsticks and an assortment of traditional Greek dips. The winery itself is beautiful; and the waiters were very well informed and amiable - a special mention to Giannis, who made this experience for us! We even got an additional 5th wine to try for free, not to mention a free tour of the winery that Giannis kindly invited us to during our tasting. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the service provided. This was not a simple wine-tasting - it was a truly enjoyable event!
Dear abso2601021 thank you very much for the detailed description and the wonderful words of yours. Looking forward to welcome you and your friends in our premises.

    Greek winery experience
Anhydrous Winery is on the outside of town. You can access the winery by walking. This is not where they make their wines. They do make small portions but do go over the way they make their wines. It was very interesting tour. The tasting was amazing. They do keep your party together during the tasting portion. They give you plenty of time to taste eat wine. I did the 6 bottle tasting, which was more than enough to really absorbed their wines. They are very good wines. You taste 4 white wines, one rose and one red.they also serve breadsticks and Greek spreads. Overall, it was a great experience. You should take time when your in Santorini to visit Anhydrous Winery.

Incredible wine tasting experience! Close to the city.
Incredible moment. We enjoyed tasting the wines of Santorini and having the commentary by Yionnis. He made the experience very friendly and pleasant! We picked the meze degustation menu and I’d recommend it - the food featured the specialties of Greece and offered the best pairing for the wine. Recommend 5/5 🤩

A highlight of our time in Santorini!
We had a fabulous afternoon with the wine and cheese pairing, the sommeliers were really brilliant and good fun too. Felt very well looked after. Wine was amazing, particularly with the cheese pairings. A real highlight of our trip! Really enjoyed the tour and getting to go down to the cellar. Learnt a lot about the making of the wine in Santorini. So excited to enjoy our bottle once we are home in rainy Scotland!

A must visit while in Fira
What a treat to visit this winery while in Fira on Santorini Greece. Ilias, the head sommelier, provided us with a very educational tasting and tour. I would highly recommend going there during your visit to Fira. The way grape vines grow in Santorini is unique, and we really enjoyed all of the wines we tasted. Especially the sweet red. It is very similar to a Port, however, not fortified.

MAGNUM of Grace - patiently waiting!!
Our tour guide, Fani, arranged for us to visit Anhydrous for the end of our trip - we were warmly welcomed. The sommeliers were very knowledgable and made our experience very fun! We each chose something from the menu to share and did the wine tasting for Anhydrous (of course!). Our favorites were Santorini, Grace and the last digestive.....good food, good wine, even better company!

We had dinner at Anhydrous Cellars, and it was an awesome experience. We tried the Volcano dinner package with wine pairings. It is a four course dinner that was delicious. The wines that they paired went well with each course. They explained each course and their wine that went with it. Very fresh. We left very happy and full. The walnut cake with peanut butter/sweet potato ice cream to finish paired with their sunset dessert wine really finished off the whole meal. It is also a vegan dessert. Our waiter Maria was very informative and attentive. Highly recommend this place. You can get a la carte meals, also. However, for the full experience, consider doing one of the food and wine packages.

Nice atmosphere and good approach of wine testing. The eating is perfect but the wines are not comparable to Italian or french wines.

We did a wine and cheese paired tasting which had 7 different wines and cheeses. The lovely lady who served us was very knowledgeable and exaplained where all the produce had come from and the history behind each wine we tasted.
We also had a tour of the winery and had a hilarious and again, knowledgeable guide who showed us the cellar and also the plants which are grown differently to other countries.
I also went to the spa and had a stunning massage. The products are all made using grapes and smelt incredible. I wish I could've taken some home but I couldn't see any smaller bottles. Would definitely recommend all 3 activities we did here. Was so relaxing.
