The view is amazing! A must do! There are 650 or so stairs. We went down but took the rail car up, we were to tired to climb after visiting the volcano island.

A must for the views...absolutely stunning..very busy, parking would be better on the outskirts of Oia & walk in ..prices are high for food and drink..thd churvhnus get ornate inside well worth a visit..

If your feeling fit enough take the steps and you will be rewarded with spectacular views, just be mindful of the slippery steps, donkeys and donkey sh** as well as the accompanying smell. However if your not in the mood for climbing the steps there...More

If you are not fit enough to walk the 500 step up or down, please don’t take it out on the poor donkeys, ride the cable car. I feel sorry for the poor donkey has to carry so many overweight tourist. The view is amazing...More

Fira and Firastefanos are pretty much the same. Imerovigli is the next town on the way to Oia.
