Etretat is a beautiful small town. We spent the night while driving through France. There isn't a lot of parking, but the town is small enough to walk through. The cliffs are amazing, and the reason we chose to stop here. I'd love to visit in the summer time.

Etrat is located in the bay between two cliffs. It is a nice small town with amenities. For the cliffs, it wasn't too hard job climbing to the top if you are generally fit. The views were stunning from there in good weather. (Etrat is about 1hour's bus ride from Le Havre. The bus stop is located jusr outside the... More

Etretat cliff is one of the best place to go in France. The scenery is just awesome that you cannot find elsewhere.

It's pretty steep getting up the path from the town centre but not too far and once you are up there the views are spectacular

The walk along the cliffs is the best activity. the tunnels below the cliffs are must visit. but make sure you read the tide time table before you go into the tunnels. the tide can raise very quickly and you can easily get trapped. the view from the... If the weather is nice and you can go in September it is an amazing experience. Watching the sunset in the evening is a must do. In addition, we did a nice hike following the rim. This hike is lightly traveled and absolutely beautiful.

I’ve visited Etretat a few times already and I recommend it to everybody. It is a beautiful small town located in between high chalk cliffs with several natural arches on both sides. In particular, on the right side cliff from the town there is a small church and a monument in honor of the first attempted direct flight from Paris... More
