Beautiful beach with clear waters, we used to have the sunbeds at Jetski club beach, 7 euros for 2 beds and a parasol. Staff here were lovely especially the young man who put the sunbeds out, polite courteous, just an awesome guy.

My experience was that the weather is always a bit the same there: warm and windy. Don't let it discourage you from taking a swim. The water is well over 25C and it's generally safe to swim, as there is just a bit of current but not much.
There are just 2 things to keep in mind: I got this tip (but didn't have to use it)... the locals love to swim as well, so if they're not in the water, there might be something going on (like sharks nearby or so), but just ask around a bit if you want to be sure. Locals are generally friendly and helpful.
And second, keep in mind that you're near the equator and that the sun burns you in seconds when you're swimming in the ocean.
The beach is white and sandy and clean, the ocean is azure... enjoy your swimming! :)
