Great ski instructors for young children (as well as adults). Nice ski program options. Kids had fun in the daycare, also. Variety of food options.

This would have been nice we wanted to take the gondola to see the views but I think we missed the season. Not the fault of the establishment just poor timing on our part.

My kids all learned to ski on Gore. Excellent school and instructors. Great landscape and amenities. Crowded during holidays. They definitely need to foresee the influx like this past Presidents' Day.

This was our second multi-day experience at Gore. We went two years ago for March Break and back again this year. The ski hill is wonderful with challenges ranging from beginner to expert with enough variety that each member of our family can find the...More

Thank you so much for such a thorough and thoughtful review of Gore. I'm ecstatic you were here during "Winter Storm Stella," that was a monster dump to be on vacation during! I'm also glad you had the chance to take lessons, as our Snow...More

Our first but certainly not last , trip to Gore. Conditions were tough, due to weather but still managed to ski some really good runs. Perfect for our family with a host of varying levels of expertise. Can't wait to return!More

I think you summed things up! Gore offers by far the most terrain in New York State, all over four different peaks, so we do have the ability to spread people out far and wide, therefore avoiding lift lines. Thanks so much for sharing your...More

It started out foggy, but then cleared a bit and it snowed 2 inches. Conditions were lovely on the North side. Staff was friendly, the lifts were great! We'll be back next year, for sure!More

Thanks so much for visiting us! Yes, lots of people enjoy the quiet North Side for long family-friendly cruising away from the main runs that more guests tend to use. I'm so excited your visit came with some fresh snow to enjoy, and we look...More

Big area but they seldom have all of it open. Trail grooming is poor if they groom at all. The website isn't always truthful about the number of trails open. I have skied here 11 times this season and had good skiing 3 times.

Hi Charlie, I am glad you visited! Was it your first day with us? The weather of 1-2 weeks ago created a challenge for skiers and ski areas throughout the East and prevented us from opening several of our black diamonds for a few days....More

Best hotel/resort to stay @ with young kids (4 & 6)? Close to mountain, but also town. Ice skating or extra activities would be a bonus! Thank you :)
