The Niagara Wine trail is made up of many small, independently owned wineries. You can drive from one to another in your own car, or you can go on-line and book yourself into a day tour. There are many wineries so you must go online...More

We participated in the Wine and Chocolate tour in February . It was a lot of fun but the wines are not great. The reds seemed better than the wine. If you like sweet wines then you will enjoy it more. There are 16 winery's...More

We enjoy checking out the Niagara Wine trail periodically and this past weekend was a special event to benefit different Charities. Called "Niagara's Bounty" participating wineries were either donating their tasting fees towards a charity or collecting food goods and exchanging them for tastings. It...More

Many many wineries to visit. All have lots of character and charm. Some have food too. We enjoyed the wines as they were nice and dry. The late harvest and Ice wines were also interesting but not cheap.

We were able to participate in the 2015 Hallowine Tour which involved about 15 wineries. You could dress up in your Halloween costume, pick up clues (for a murder mystery) and 3-4 tastings at each winery. Very fun, would totally consider doing it again next...More

The wineries on the American side are nice. Very rural & country-like. The scenery with the trees changing was spectacular. However, we felt the Canadian wineries were more upscale with more of a European or Californian flare.

Great variety of wineries all with a nice selection of wines. Although it is not a trail of wineries they are all within a short distance and there are several that are lumped together and accessible for a one day trip.

The wine trails at the finger lakes is something we do annually. This year was the first time at Niagara. While we didn't feel it was as good as Cayuga or Seneca, it was still fun. However, there also didn't actually seem to be a...More

There is "wine country" in Niagara Falls, Canada. Multiple wineries, vineyards. Don't know if it's considered wine trail persay.
We are attending the wine festival on Sept. 24 and 25. We usually only like going to vineyards, not tasting rooms. Can someone recommend the best vineyards to visit as we have to pick only 10? I am getting the feeling from my research that there are not a lot of vineyards on the list.
