This boat ride to the base of the falls is the only option from the U.S. side. The boat holds 600 people, so it will always feel crowded. At 20 minutes there and back, it will be over way too quickly. It may be an elbow-fight to get a space at the railing, but do it anyway because the magnificent... More

Traveling with my girlfriend her 18 year old son and my 8&12 year old daughters. This is something that appeals to all ages. Off season so no lines which is awesome on it's own. As powerful as the Falls are when viewed from above you get a real feel of their power as you approach in the boat. Don't be... More

If you got to see the beautiful Falls, DO NOT MISS THE BOAT! What an amazing sight from the boat! They provide a poncho but you will get a wee bit wet. My iPhone 6 got pretty wet but no problems! It's amazing when the boat goes close to the falls!! Hang on and hang on to your phone!! I... More

Maid of the Mist should be on top of your list if you want to visit the Niagara Falls. It's one thing to see the top/overview of the falls but to experience it up close, is just surreal! It's only a 15-min boat ride but definitely worth it. Just make sure you get a good spot on the boat and... More

Our family of four stopped by to see the falls on our way from Rochester, NY to Cleveland, OH. The visitor cenber was showing a 45 minute movie, but we did not have time to watch the movie. Before the boat left the dock area, we had been given ponchos, and boy, did we ever need them! The boat stopped... More

One of the most incredible things I have ever done. The hurricane force winds were exhilarating! Worth every penny. I would go again.

Great way to view the Falls. The ship takes you right to the bottom of the Falls enabling one to experience their magnificence.

Do not tell the owners, but I would have paid nearly double the $18 ticket price! Go off-season but prepare to be cold. And I mean bone-chilling, Buffalo in January cold. We had maybe 35 people on our boat, which I am sure holds 80+ during the summer. The 18-minute ride feels more like 30 especially as you sit in... More

This was Amazing....a MUST if you are visiting Niagara Falls. We were actually traveling and staying on the Canadian side, but stopped here first and so glad we did. There were no lines since it is so early in the season, so that was a bonus. It does look like it could be a bit challenging if you go during... More

Seeing the Falls from above is amazing, but seeing them up close? Even better! I took some awesome pictures and it was a blast. Prepare to get wet! They provide you with ponchos that actually did a very good job of keeping me dry. Your shoes and face will get wet, though! It was a little less than $20 per... More
