Bring your bike or ride the tram which is part of your admission and enjoy the fresh air and amazing art that in many cases looks like part of the landscape. Kids of all ages will like it. Great place to walk and enjoy time as a couple or with friends. Brink food to picnic.

This is quite far from NYC but well worth a visit if travelling outside city limits. The sculptures are amazing to see. Renting a bike is a great way to get to see the whole park.

Fabulous sculpture outdoor museum. Mainly modern sculpture. Some huge pieces and some mid-size pieces - spread over a lot of parkland. Allow at least 3 hrs. (May be a little hard to find - we used a GPS)

Maybe a bit out of the way but take the time to visit if its a nice day. Take your sunscreen and walk the fields and enjoy wonderful sculpture. the setting is breathtaking. We walked up to the North woods and then caught the trolley to see the rest. In hind sight I would have walked to the "Buddha with... More

The fabulous fountains behind the visitors center, the mirror wall in the field and the Buddha head really stood out this time, but we love Storm King in all seasons and can't wait to return!

This was our second visit and we loved it. We revisited the funky sculptures that we liked most and hiked to new areas to enjoy some we had not seen before. It was 90 and humid -- too hot for me both inside and out, so our visit was shorter than planned.

If you are a fan of modern art sculptures, then this is a must see, and its scope will impress. It is a beautiful setting in a historic part of America, albeit a little out of the way for most- up the road from historic West Point- home of the U.S. Military Academy. If you are an average citizen with... More

I'm not joking about not touching the art. Only few pieces are truly interactive and the sculpture police will be certain to let you know. I understand why, but it's not that easy to contain a toddler when some pieces are so inviting. Aside from that, the Art Center is beautiful. I didn't go into the museum, just around the... More

What a great concept.Acres of park with large sculpture interspersed throughout natural settings.Grass mounds sculpted into a series of green waves,a meandering stone wall, delicately graceful kinetic sculpture.Even better with an on and off trolley tour circulating every twenty minutes or so.One caveat,it was cold at the end of April on an open trolley. We literally went to a nearby Goodwill for...
