New Paltz has several great sights: an outstanding example is DM Weil gallery and (when the artist's studio is open - weekends only) the next-door studio. All this without the SoHo attitude. Ken is a most gracious and loquacious host.

There is a joy and playfulness in these paintings with bright colors and a real sense of movement. If the paintings are too costly or large for you, excellent prints are available as well as giclee ones. The gallery has two rooms, prints in one...More

The studio is full of large colorful abstracts. The paintings and their stories are powerfully presented and the artist was there to describe the inspiration and creative process. The originals are much too large for my space, but the studio offers reproductions in a variety...More
