Just a short drive from the center of picturesque New Paltz, DM Weil Gallery offers the look and vibe of an exclusive Soho style exhibition space, but with the majestic Shawangunk mountains as a backdrop. The eye-popping abstract creations of acclaimed painter DM Weil -- has been praised by critics and collectors alike, the gallery's mission statement remains, "Why Can't Fine Art Be Fun?".

From the moment I walked into the DMWeilGallery, I was dazzled by the vibrancy of colors dancing on large pieces of canvas. The Soho style gallery is an unexpected and wonderful find in the Gunks. Donna's work is bursting with great imagination & energy expressing whimsy, joy and intensity. Donna is a natural, both warm and earthy, and generally on... More

I was impressed by the work here. Large, abstract pieces with vivid colors that would be stunning in a contemporary room. I purchased a print since the originals were outside my budget, but I would recommend stopping by.

Amazing art and a welcoming place. Just a beautiful gallery and nothing can beat chatting with the artist, wandering through their space, and seeing where it happens. We purchased 2 pieces - and I can definitely see more in the future. Love her use of colors and depth and texture. Wonderful to see the piece and visualize the theme; her... More

We just spent about 2 1/2 hours with Donna and Ken in their AMAZINGLY unusual and beautiful art galley and studio. They were both such lovely people, happy to talk and explain Donna's process of painting as we sipped on wine they graciously gave us. We ended up buying a painting, t-shirts with her great logo on them and a... More

We had an enjoyable visit to the gallery and talking with assistant Brooke and meeting the artist Donna. Her work is vibrant and inspiring. With one of us having an art background, it was nice to be able to relate her artistic abilities. Very enjoyable.

Donna and Ken have the most comfortable space to view an expansive collection of Donna's work. This is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, not a stuffy NY City gallery, but with all the charm and space to view her awesome paintings as a quality NY City gallery would.

We were given a tour of the gallery and the artist's workspace, and we spoke at length with the artist and the gallery... More

Stopped in over the Labor Day weekend. Great artworks by the artist and the space is a real gem in the woods. Spoke at length with the artist about her works and gallery and enjoyed some pretty good local wine compliments of the house! Highly recommend a stop here if you are in the Hudson Valley.

We were warmly welcomed, served espresso, shown around the fantastic gallery space and studio. The artist talked about her process, her journey as an artist. It was wonderful! And the art is so colorful and expressive!

We were so welcomed into this creative space. Given wine and a tour and great conversation with the artist herself and the gallery manager. Great people! Gorgeous pieces! We will certainly make sure to visit again :)
