We live nearby and these waterfalls have inspired my daughter to be waterfall obsessed. We drove by at every opportunity. These are best in the wet of the spring but they are also lovely when they are partly frozen in the winter.

This was my second visit to the beautiful falls right at the end of Main St. in Montour Falls. This falls does not disappoint. The falls was running a lot, today. We were hoping for more ice along the falls but it wasn't to be. However, because they were running so rapidly it was great. While there check out the... More

very helpful staff at the Montour Falls public library. Very pleasant little town if you have a few hours to waste in the afternoon.

The Falls here can be fabulous or drab depending on rain conditions. This summer has been extremely dry and the Falls have been just a trickle most of the summer. After a heavy day of rain or two and they are back in their splendid glory.

Due to drought like conditions, the falls were not as pretty as we expected. The leaves are changing colors, which did add to the atmosphere. The small park is quaint.

I love that the town has highlighted this lovely little water fall. It's lit up at night as well! Walked over from Cooks Mansion.

We stopped here on our way back to PA but it wasn't flowing. Is probably a nice sight when there's water.

It was a bit lackluster when we were there - but it was in the middle of Upstate New York's drought.

I unfortunately didn't get a good day at the falls. There hasnt been a lot of rain in the area, so the falls weren't flowing much at all. But I can tell that when they do, they are probably a beautiful sight.

Falls you can see from the street as you drive by or stop and walk back to it. Down side is there is only space for one car to park in front of it or two very small cars. No parking on the street that runs in front of it. Unexpected surprise to see in a residential neighborhood.
