Paid $40$ for family not including entrace to the state park just to see and climb the lighthouse. Really? I enjoyed the ride to there though.

gorgeous view of the East end of LI. I watched the surfer's at the point due to the offshore hurricane reminded me of Hawaii.

The Montauk lighthouse is a landmark not to be missed . Located at the end of the island by a scenic rocky beach . Playground nearby in the park. Also a nice restaurant next door overlooking ocean. Museum and optional climb inside lighthouse reasonably priced....More

Montauk State Park is THE END. It is the place to see when in Montauk. The Montuak Lighthouse, the view over the ocean and the beachside is what you are coming to Montauk for.
