The lighthouse is beautiful and the walk up is easy enough. There’s a museum area, great maps, I like the gift shop gift which had nice Christmas ornaments but the real reason to go is the memorial to those who died at sea. Very moving....More

This is the official end of Long Island. Very famous light house with a park. I believe there is a ferry not far off with rides to Block Island, RI. It's not far off.

Very nice museum - you can climb the stairs up to the top (where the light is) and see the shoreline stretching away. Word of warning - the stairs are very steep and twisty, so be careful, especially if you're scared of heights!

"A must go too when visiting montuak New York. Afterwards head over to east Hampton beach and enjoy! ATTN: waves at the beach are pretty rough so if your traveling with little ones, keep a good eye on them! - Lopez Family

Love it, for decades now, just love. I've been coming to Montauk for many decades, 1992. I have tried every place to stay in Montauk, and this one is the most comfortable for me.

Light house is beautiful as always, great area to bring your dog to walk the trails and the beach. Be sure if you’re walking the trails you protect yourself & pup for ticks.
