Golf course with a great view

Mansion Ridge is a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course with great views and some very interesting holes. Usually can play 18 in 4 hrs or less. Not a course for walkers or beginners.

My wife and I have played here numerous times and have generally enjoyed the course. We typically play our rounds in 4 hours or less. Today was the first time we have ever played when the course was busy and we are thankful for that. Four hours into our round, we were only finished with 13 holes and waiting on... More

Friends had their wedding reception at Mansion Ridge. The staff were very friendly and professional. The bufett was very good.

I booked a round online (as did 3 other single, for the same time). We arrived right as a shotgun outing was teeing off. The course sent us out anyway...we got through 12 holes in literally 4 hours. Then a women's night league came out to the back 9 and told us we needed to get off the course. We... More

Played Mansion Ridge on a whim on our way back upstate from playing Bethpage. We were extremely pleased with every facet of the experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the course was in great shape and offered spectacular views. If you choose the correct set of tees, the experience can challenging without being overly penal as some Nicklaus courses... More

Played on a Wednesday morning. Course was in great shape. Nice putting green and chipping green and range balls included in fee. Was in mid 90s and there was drinking water every three holes. Not from the area but would play this course if I could on a regular basis.

I played The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge as part of the Troon Golf Challenge. The course was in very good shape. The greens were okay. A bit slow compared my next day round at Winged Foot. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good. The setting is very beautiful. The one draw back is not being able... More

I played Mansion Ridge on Tuesday May 5, 2015 and it was a great experience. I teed off at 8 am and finished 18 holes in 2.5 hrs. The course was in beautiful condition though there were a few green early in the round that were in tough shape from winter damage. Overall a great experience and a beautiful course.... More

I went for a lunch and was served a hamburger patty that tasted old , the lettuce was wilted and the tomato soggy. never again. We had to eat in the bar as the dinning area was no longer open. This was in the month of May.

The bunkers were filled with rocks...not pebbles...rocks. The play was so slow that I thought I might have arrived in purgatory or some place where one is forced to contemplate what they did wrong to deserve this. This is the worst Jack Nicklaus course I have ever played, and I think it should be disowned from the brand...Just everything you... More
