Tobay is a good beach to go and chill with friends and family and enjoy some sun. The food shack and restaurant offer good food as well but can be a little pricey. Definitely check out this beach if you get tired of Field 4.

Camp kids and old ppl. The beach is so small, it's totally not worth small fee for a summer pass. It felt like I was an interloper at a private event.

Only Town residents, so not as crowded as Jones Beach. Right next door. Nicer Spray park for children.

One of the perks of living on Long Island in the Town of Oyster Bay is this beach! On the south shore and easily accessible via Ocean Parkway, Tobay Beach has both ocean front and bay access. I look forward to spending time here every summer!

Great beach with both ocean and bay beaches. Food service and water spray park attraction for kids. Senior citizens can get a free season pass too. Town of Oyster Bay residents can get a season pass for a $60 fee. Daily resident fee is $20 and daily non resident fees $50. Non-residents cannot use beach on weekends.

Tobay has been my town beach for years Always a great beach to go to, they have two restaurants, Seafood Shack and Salsa Shack, along with concession , must be a resident to use the beach on weekends, but anyone can go to the restaurants, also have a small water park for the little ones.

Although Tobay is a town beach, requiring a resident permit or daily fee, it is a well maintained, lovely beach right on the Atlantic ocean with spectacular sand and good amenities.

Since this beach Is primarily for Town of Oyster Bay residents, it has remained less crowded and more well taken care of than other beaches. I have been going here since I was a child. I consider myself fortunate to have had this beach "in my backyard" for my whole life!

We visited via boat at night to dine at Singleton's Salsa Shack. There were Boy Scouts or similar there camping out as we made the walk from the docks to the restaurant. The beach looked dent from what we could see at night. Nice bathroom facilities and sandy area for daytime activities.
