On one hand, I must congratulate them on the very obvious increase in business via social media or something else. On the other hand, it totally ruined a wonderful ambiance that I have enjoyed over the past ten years. The crowd, the limit of 75 minutes at a table, the ability to purchase only by the glass (maximize that revenue!!), and the tents that totally obstructed the view, and even the a few obnoxious waitresses that said you couldn't go past the reserved tables to see the view all ruined what had been a great time. We left and went to a neighboring winery and enjoyed ourselves. Very disappointing.

It was the most inhospitable experience! They wanted to kick us out after 75 minutes while we had our food and wine ordered. The waitress didn't belong in the hospitality industry. Just there to make a living. The general manager had only the title not the skills associated with any kind of managing. And the owner came to be the icing on the cake and when me as a guest told him "this is not hospitality. You are all about numbers" the only thing his intelligence and education allowed to reply was "you are all about numbers". Wines are drinkable but don't open a hospitality establishment just to make some extra cash. Ruined a birthday party of 12 30+ people who could refer this place to many more people. So, just because rain was coming and he wanted to accommodate all the people who had booked outdoors he preferred to kick out our group that was under the tent. The place was pretty but not well maintained and policed. The Vines could be counted in 5 seconds. Most grapes bought probably.

Went here recently for a wine tasting with friends. This was the best wine tasting that I have been to locally. You get good pours, not these 1oz pours you get everywhere else. Their wines are very good. Highly recommend this place for a wine tasting. Its my favorite

If you appreciate a good wine and know a least a tiny teeny bit about it, do not go to Benmarl Winery. The wine was embarrassingly bad. Wine lacked in balance, body, taste and had excessive sugar content. We had tried 8x different wines and there was not a single one our of 8x that we would agree to drink or buy. The basic appetizers menu was even worse. One does not have to be a connoisseur of fine wines to taste the poor quality.

What happened to this place? Before covid this was our favorite winery. We would buy a bottle and sit out back enjoying the view. It was awesome. We went there today (5/11/22) with some friends and wanted to introduce them to this awesome place. I walked in and wanted to purchase a bottle and take it out back to enjoy the view with them. I was told that if I purchased a bottle I couldn’t drink it there. We had to sit on the deck without a view and purchase by the glass. We walked out. Now I will not ever go back there again. Too bad.

Came there and booked a reservation on short notice. Early afternoon slot was also the only one left open. The seating was fast, the table location was very good. There is actually not a 'bad' location of any table, as there is a great view from anywhere on the outside area.
The seating time was limited, and then there was the option to move over to one of the benches or some other areas. Our service was very friendly.
We ordered pizza right away, it takes about 20 minutes to make one freshly. The wine tasting was fun and the crowd was very mixed and happy.
Only negative point for us was that only very few wines were to our liking.
But still purchased some bottles to take home, from those wines that we thought ok.
Overall a fun day, it was clear skies. Btw, take a jacket with you, as it can get very cold, since the vineyard is in the country side.

I was very disappointed and the fact that if you do not drink it was very limited. I went up to a few vendors asked if I could get a water of coke and they told me no it's only for their drinks they were not allowed to sell the soda. I had to go back outside the gate to get non-alcoholic beverages.
At the food 4 out of five we're not worth the money I paid for them.
Will not go back

We enjoyed our 75 mins of the wine flight. The location is beautiful, staff was courteous and knowledgeable. We only tried the reds, but there is a large variety, plus one cider. You are required to purchase food, because the state requires that of their facility. ..and the food ranges from $10 to $25. Cash for food, but there is an ATM on-site. Overall, nice outing. Since it was cold and windy, we had indoor seating. Shoved our kids in the corner, bought them each a soda, and pretended they weren't there. :-)

The view at Benmarl Vineyard is just breathtaking. The services was excellent and the wines were everything you needed in a good glass of wine. I loved the experience at this Vineyard from the arrival to the end the service was top notch. The food was very delicious, the pizza is one of my favorite which is made on premises. Benmarl have some of the best pizza period. The cheese spread is another excellent choice. My favorite wine at Benmarl is the semi dry riesling this wine is so refreshing. I ended purchasing several bottles. If you are ever in the area this is a must do.
