Good way to go up the river.

We only rode from Hunters Point to The Brooklyn Bridge, but we enjoyed the ride and decided doing the hop on and off would be a nice way to see other places like Williamsburg or... read more

Water Taxi Beach was great fun, but things change rapidly in NY and alas it is no more. It has been replaced by the NYS Gantry Park which is lovely, but much larger and less funky.

You will get to see many things that are NOT visible from land. Breathtaking scenes of Brooklyn, the Statue of Liberty, Governors and Ellis Islands and Manhattan. If you get a daypass you can cruise up and down the Hudson River all you want. It's worth every penny.

After visiting Brooklyn Bridge area, we took the one-way $4 water taxi back to Long Island City, Hunters Point. It was a great ride, beautiful vistas. Will do it again. You purchase the ticket from a machine, then wait at pick up point. There are various boats unloading, so if not sure ask.

We had a New York city pass and when we went to get a ticket, the girl said,"the machine that scans the passes isn't working" and she sits there waving this scanner in the air like it was alive or something she wasn't very helpful either just a moron really

The boat was quite and smooth and even tho it is just a taxi it was one of my favourite things in New York the crew was awesome full of knowledge and gave a better tour than the tour boats recommend using the water taxi even if you don't need to,

This place operates in the warmer months. You'll probably have to take a bus to find it. There's a volleyball set up as well as several restaurants. It's by a water taxi stop so if you are in Manhattan or Brooklyn you can float on over. If you're here for a week it might be a fun thing to do... More

We used the Water Taxi to visit different areas of New York City. DC was our guide/"Cruise Director". He has lived in New York all his life and was amazing with all the history and dates that he gave us. Different stops are for seeing many sites on the Hudson. We saw the 911 Memorial, Wall Street, a Cathedral, place... More
