Hiking the Nature trail

Lovely country setting for a hike in the woods. You can bring pets on a leash. Easy to find off Rt 78. Must see the little waterfall off one of the trails.

This is a beautiful forest with well marked trails. There are various length trails, though none are strenuous. This is a good hike for kids. One of the trails has a creek with a small picturesque waterfall.

This is a wonderful, somewhat unknown local trail. A beautiful place to take your dog for a walk. The trails are not too rough and mostly flat. 1/2 through there is a stream with a waterfall which is worth seeing.

A very nice park in the town. There are many trails covering woods open areas, hills and streams. A nice place to spend a couple hours in the outdoors.

My family loves to walk through the nature trail. There's a small waterfall, a 180 year old oak tree and 250 year old oak tree. We always see lots of wildlife like squirrels, chipmunks, garter snakes and frogs. Do be wary of poison ivy, though you should be fine as long as you stay on the trail. The trail is... More

This little area is just what we needed. We decided to check it out since we've recently moved to town and we're glad we live so close now. The trails are really pretty and arent too complicated to navigate, as long as you stay on the trail I don't think you'll get lost. There's a cool little "waterfall" you can... More

I had a craving to get out into the woods. I went to google.com and typed in Lockport, New York Hiking Trails and this came up. A friend and I went on a gloriously warm late fall day (yesterday) and loved every minute. There were not any trail maps available and the red, yellow and blue trails were not marked,... More
