This was a fun tour and history lesson. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. There is quite a bit of walking and stairs, so it might not be for everybody, but it was worth the time and expense.

This cave was different as it was full of history. The guide did very good job with explaining the history of the locks and the cave and how it was constructed. Overall a good time.

Had a wonderful time learning about the history of Lockport. Paige did an excellent job of presenting the history of the area. She included humor along with the facts.

This tour was shockingly very good. Much of the success of this tour of the cave (a man-made tunnel) was because of our guide, Paige. She did an excellent job relaying the history of not just the cave but the industry based on the tunnel's...More

First on foot along the canal, then through limestone caverns, and finally via a flat - bottomed boat, you will receive a thorough history of the Lockport Cavern and the businesses transpiring from its construction. The 70-minute tour was very interesting and the tour guide...More

Very interesting history of the cave and its role in providing power for manufacturing. Mind-boggling to think about its construction: dangerous, manual labor. I rated it a 4 because the tour is mostly a walking tour and the boat ride is only the last few...More

No, pets are not allowed. If it is a service animal I would call and double check with them to see if accommodations can be made.

Definitely okay for a 7 year old. As for the cast, we barely got wet.But there is drippings of water from the top of the cave and it is moist inside. So we did get little droppings here and there . Since this is nothing like... More
