I think this is the same as the Niagara Power Project Visitors Centre - should probably be a combined entry in TripAdvisor. If you were here years ago, you will be stunned by the change. Magnificent scenery complemented by educational and entertaining exhibits. Very interactive and a great rainy day activity. Not really suitable for babies or strollers, but the... More

We ended up here as a last minute thing to do on a rainy day and is was very interesting with lots of interactive ways to learn about the creation and generation of power. There was simulation room and lots of interactive screens to learn how power works.

I am interested in science, so it was a natural for me to visit. It was great. It is perfect for people with kids or grandkids. They dummy down lots of technical stuff to make the exhibits enjoyable for everyone.

Firstly, I would like to give a very high review rating to the Discover Niagara Shuttle bus which helped us find this place. It runs every half hour or so, the length of the gorge between Niagara (USA) and Old Fort Niagara. It calls in at Whirlpool State Park (great views and walks), Lewiston (charming shops) and the Castellani Art... More

I brought my 12YO and 19YO here and we all enjoyed it much more than I expected. They weren't thrilled when we pulled into the parking lot. Ugh, something educational on vacation mom! But they were soon won over. We spent about 2 hours going through all the new interactive exhibits, all tied into their website where you can download... More

What a fun visit! We were referred by a Helicopter pilot in Niagara. I was doubtful, but my husband was interested do I tagged along. We had such a fun time. There are so many displays and hands on games to play. The views were spectacular. I was so impressed. It's a short car ride to Lewiston but totally worth... More

Try to arrange your vacation to spend some time here. It is well worth the time. Great for families. They have a interesting history section downstairs. The views are incredible. The place is clean and futuristic looking with unique, interactive displays. I was impressed. It amazes me what a herculean effort it was to create this power plant. You can... More

I went with a 12 year old girl....very fun and educational! It was free to get in. Would be especially fun for younger children, but mine enjoyed herself also. Views are spectacular, and there's even an area where you can build and power your own town.

The Niagara Power Project Power Vista museum has always been a fun place to visit, but following an extensive renovation is now an extremely impressive museum of science, engineering, and cultural history of the Niagara region. The NYPA pulled out all the stops on this one...bravo! Worth at least a half day visit.

Brought the grandchildren aged 9 and 6. We stayed nearly two hours and didnt complete all exhibits. The kids loved it, stayed focused and engaged. Had read reviews saying upgrades were needed and was pleasantly surprised that most displays were functional and seemed new. Should mention that the staff were very engaged with visitors, obviously enjoying helping people. Very glad... More
