If you want a lesson in the history of Rwanda and how life was under the kings, this is a good place to visit. I is only about 30 minutes from Butare and worth the drive. Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting.

This gives the visitor a taste of how life was spent in the daily activities of the King. You understand his prerogatives, his role in society, how he administered his subjects. It is also where he took major decisions.
