While visiting the Adirondacks and Lake Placid be sure to include horseback riding for one of your most memorable of your vacation activities. Family run, we offer the gentlest horses in the area and unlike most stables we keep them through retirement. We also run a Horse Rescue, and most of our horses came from auctions and other, unfortunate circumstances. Rides are approximately 45-50 minutes with an additional instructional lesson prior to the ride to help you familiarize yourself with how the horses have been trained and answer any questions you may have. Longer rides available for year 2012. SEI certified helmets provided. Children and Family friendly. We are an easy drive from Saranac Lake, Keene, Wilmington, Plattsburgh, and Essex areas. Walking distance from Main Street in Lake Placid.

Dear Reviewer, We must admit that we never expected your review to be negative. According to your husband, he suffered from a brain tumor, had two strokes, multiple blood clots and a bad knee/hip, among other ailments that he disclosed, all of which caused him...More

The actual trail ride was fun (2 hr private), and our guides, Zach and Amanda were excellent. The problem lies with the management. We finally found the place, which was difficult since there is no cell service in that area, and no signs off the...More

We try to include a trail ride on all of our family vacations, and I think this was the best of all the ones we have done so far. We splurged on the 1/2 day trail ride with lunch, and I am glad we did....More

I would recommend this attraction to everyone. Natalia is great at sizing up your ability with horses. I, for one, am a complete rookie and was a bit apprehensive. She calmed my nerves. My group consisted of all beginners but we all felt comfortable and...More

This was an excellent experience. Sean/Shawn was fantastic with the kids. His friendliness and patience, coupled with his experience made us feel welcome and comfortable. The horses were happy and healthy here, which is always important. I love that this ranch rescues animals in need...More
