Really nice climb, but a bit challenging. The best way for those who are not trained is to start at the afternoon, around 12-00 pm to 1-00 pm, to reach the Gite at about 6-00 pm. Make sure one has all warm clothes and water...More

The walk up and down is long and very hard. Most of people stop the refuge and wait for the dawn but if you start from the bottom and do it in one shot, expect around 6h walkings on a very steep path, climbing stairs...More

The highest point on the island deserves at least an attempt. Plenty of people who don't look like they are regular hikers manage this ascent though of course it is easier and more fun if you are fit and used to walking up steep hills....More
