I had an amazing time on several tours with Ilha Blue (biking around Ilha, Whale watching and a snorkeling tour) while staying in Ilha. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are in Ilha, I highly recommend going on a tour with this company which does a lot to empower the local community and build the tourist infrastructure in Ilha. Also their cafe is nice.

We had a wonderful whale watching tour with the Ilha Blue team! all the staff were very kind and took great efforts to explain everything to us in both English and Portuguese! Great lunch of fresh fish on the beach at Sete Paus and... delicious Siri Siri matapa! Well done!

We love taking people out to see the whales - every day in the wild is different and every person's experience is unique. So happy you enjoyed the local fresh food. I'm getting hungry just writing about it!

Ilha Blue took our group out to watch the humpback whale migration happening during this season. Amazing experience! Their staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We stopped at a smaller island for lunch. We toured the lighthouse and swam. Beautiful views from the lighthouse! Their staff cooked amazing seafood! Some of the best I’ve had.

We took a one day tour by boat, went snorkeling and freediving on the ship wreck close to the Lighthouse Island in front of Ilia. The ship wreck is at 3-5 meters of depth, covered in corals and has a short "tunnel".
The staff mounted a Gazebo, grilled fish and cooked delicious local food for us on the lighthouse Island. We also did the way back to Ilia sailing without engine and it was magic!

The highlight of Mozambique was unquestionably Ilha de Mozambique and the highlight of our time on Mozambique Island was our day with Ilha Blue. The snorkelling was great, but the body surfing on the sandbar island was my highlight of the day/week/month.

My wife and I went on a trip with Ilha blue to watch whales. The trip was well organised, in terms of how they planned everything - from giving us information about whales, taking care of safety aspects and most importantly, being respectful of whales - not going too near them or using sails rather than motor while being near them.

This team was wonderful. Fahar was so helpful to me as a solo traveler, Coman was the best guide of the island by bicycle, and he and Adbul were very kind to me when I got sea sick kayaking after eating too much breakfast! I will be back and refer all my friends. Thank you Ilha Blue!

The Ilha Blue team is amazing.
I have nothing but good things to say about them.
Very professional, respectful and helpful.
I had sea sickness and they took such good care of me.
Oh and if you are interested in real, original food, their food is delicious.

We made a 2 hours tour by bike, passing to the most important point of interest. Our guide provided a lot of historical information and it was very interactive. The contact with Ilha Blue was so good that we came back to it for a snorkeling activity and also just to discuss with the members.

Ilha Blue staff were incredibly helpful and allowed us to make many memories of our trip to Ilha! I would highly recommend one (if not more) of their tours to appreciate the ocean and islands.

Good day to you, we are spending the day there in February with the MSC Sinfonia. We would like to pre book a tour of some sort directly as it is so expensive if you book on board. We are a party of 5 and enjoy the sea. Not too interested in history.
