The guided tour along the Rhino path included hundreds of original hand painted pictures of the local African wildlife on the rock faces. Our guide took us up to the upper portion of the Female Hill and pointed out where the ancient locals lived.

It was hot, very hot, so we didn't do too much of the walking tour and one of the best bits was actually the drive there and seeing all the wildlife and giving lifts to a few locals who couldn't have been more appreciative.

In the camping at night pierce the wheels. We stood alone, there were no other cars. The territory is fenced, but the place is not safe.

A very special place. Very different of the rest of the Okavango region. Well worth a visit. The guide was pleasant and informative. Without him we would have missed most of the art. Road not great.

Amazing place! So much history and so beautiful at the same time. The paintings are incredible. Our guide Alec was very knowledgeable and told us many interesting stories about the hills, Sun people etc. We really enjoyed our afternoon there. Really worth to visit.

We booked 7 days camping at Tsodilo Hills Community campsite as all other sites were fully booked. The plan was to use this as a base camp from where we can explore the upper Western part of Botswana. They charged a ridiculous price of 140...More

We were there in October and had no issues with the road. I am afraid I cannot comment on the present situation.

Mmm...good question, I too have my doubts, however the paintings are there. What does make me wonder is that someone also painted pics of penguins and whales.... We were there in high season, and there were no campers, so I... More
