This backway is wide. Parking is easy. Queensbury to Lake George. Mainly for locals. Some small hills. Ends Lake George Battle Park near the Steam Boats.

Great ride offering both scenic views of Lake George and peaceful, wooded surroundings. While there are several ascents and descents, the pathway maintains a pretty modest grade the whole time. Great for a slow family ride, walk, or run!

Well kept bike trail, looks like new. Many nice stops on the way if you want. A lot of it separate from the road and goes right through the woods. Some hills with some steep ones but still great for families.

The bike path follows an old rail trail through several communities and over varied terrain. In the nice weather this is a wonderful activity for the yong and the yong at heart. And it’s all free.

We rented bikes and ride to glens falls. Had ice cream and ride back very little other traffic and great way to stay away from traffic. My kids could ride ahead of us and did worry about them. The bike rental place was great.

I biked all the way from Lake George Village to Glen Falls and the path was most pleasant. You are in the middle of the woods on a nicely paved way 95% of the time. Truly a gem!

Instead of biking can also be used as a hiking trail. Took our dog along and she loved it! Extremely scenic wooded area.

Great running here! We really enjoyed the shade of this trail! Nice having company as it is well traveled.

We stayed at the Lake George RV Resort which connects to this bike path. There you can take a 4 mile ride into the Lake George Village or bike into Glens Falls. We took the path to the village twice during our stay. It is...More

It is very steep at some places so uphill is rough. But if they are decent riders it is fine. Downhill is really fast. Not much to see except foliage though. When our daughter was that age we used the attachment and hooked... More
