The tour was perfect and the guide was very knowledgeable about the fort. Every part was built as it was in 1757. We learned things about American history we never knew. Very nice gift shop with lots of books about the fort and the area.
Paul was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable on the history of the fort but also all the spooky occurrences at the fort over the years. Very fun and interesting, would def recommend especially as halloween gets closer!
The fort is all recreated, but with a real effort at authenticity. The staff knows the fort’s history, and tells it well.
Signs tell a lot more about the history, as well as the naval side of the local history.
