Million Dollar Beach in nestled on the southern edge of Lake George with fabulous views north down the lake. It is clean and the water is cold, but has parking, rest rooms, changing areas, lifeguards and even concession's all just a short walk from town.
Lake George is an amazing place, if you like the water and the hills. The lake is surrounded by the Adirondack mountain ranges and the view is superb. There is plenty of parking around the lake. If you are there, I recommend the cruise.
This beach is so small and very crowded. It is perfect, if you do not want any peace, quite, and privacy. It is a free beach with horrible parking. There are too many kids running around and the beach is dirty. I do not recommend...More
This beach is just a short walk from the main village. We used the parking there and could walk to town to get a snack or coffee. Very clean and the people working there were hospitable. It is just past the spot where the steamboats...More
I visited the Million Dollar Beach on September 01, 2018. This is a very clean each, and since it is a lake, there are no waves and surf. It is very calm and very quiet. A place where one can take a book to read.

Went during extremely hot day in late August. Must be they are lacking help/lifeguards because it was closed until 1:15 pm when a lifeguard showed up. We were one of first ones there so everything was clean.
we spent about two hours at the beach. it was not crowded and bathrooms/locker rooms were very clean. water was very clean and refreshing. only one lifeguard on duty and limited concession stand. we took the LG trolley so we avoided the parking lots
Spent a sunny Sunday afternoon at Million Dollar Beach and had a wonderful time. Clean, lots of space, serviceable restrooms. Snack bar has limited options but parking is plentiful and only $10. Go, go, go!
