They charge 10 dollars a car load to drive up to the summit (so they say). Once you get near the summit, you are not allowed to go any further unless your on a motorcycle. Hiking it on foot is a very very steep incline....More

We did not expect the $10 entry fee, but definitely worth it. The porta-john on the summit needed serious attention. Bring your camera and a snack and plan on staying at least a few hours to fully appreciate all that it offers.

Great views from atop the mountain, and view points along The way. Hiking areas throughout. We hiked from the upper parking lot to the top. Shuttles are available for those that don't want to, or can't hike the remainder to the top.

Steep hike at places but overall a moderate hike and worth it when you reach the top! Be careful on the rocks they are slippery in places.

The view from the top was beautiful, however there was a haze which restricted the view of the distant mountains. It's definitely worth the time.

Take the trip to the top of the mountain. The view is about 100 miles of mountains and lakes. There are a few pull over spots for picture taking. It was worth the drive

we were there in october so I don't know about winter, it has significant grades and may be risky after the snow hits the ground and accumulates
