This one is huge. I do not even remember what I paid at the toll booth to get in off the parkway, but it was well worth it. A golf course, ball field, play grounds, board walk with pavilion, and not the least, the beach...More

The views of LI Sound, the boats, Connecticut across the water, clean sand, plenty of parking. Sunsets are peaceful and perfectly bracketed by the land on both sides of the Sound. Well worth a visit

Besides having a great boardwalk for exercise they have done great trails. I was so surprised to see a small bridge over a pond that was part of the trails. There also is so much edible things along the way.

This is a state beach and picnic area. Certainly you could have a casual picnic party if that is what you choose.
