great venue for genealogists, with many volunteers to help, which is my main reason for joining. have not had time to avail myself yet, but everyone was so helpful. beautiful mansion, with many projects and influences for the area.

Took advantage of Doors Open Jamestown and visited the Fenton again. Love stopping in every few years. Beautiful mansion with so much history. My favorite time to go is at Christmas time.

Looking for something to do, we toured the Fenton History center. Very interesting look back at the area and it's history. Neat exhibits and we learned a lot about the Jamestown culture.

The Fenton History Center provides a wonderful overview of the local history. The research library is used by people from all over the country with an emphasis on Scandinavian research due to the number of Swedes and so forth who settled in the area.
