We stopped here for a few hours and are so glad we did. We took the very informative tour and also enjoyed wandering around on our own. Great little side trip if you're in the area!

did not find any this time, but it was great to visit a famous and well known site like this. A lot of parking available; many visitors on this lovely October day. Lovely sitting area (indoors) overlooking a pond with water fowl activity.

We visited for a scheduled docent tour of the Ornithology Lab and found it a) interesting, b) *very* scientifically oriented (thus more interesting to me than to my wife) and c) a bit "talky." The Lab is also a museum with a wealth of fascinating...More
