A nice stop - especially if you have kids.

This is a good introduction to the ecology of the area. They have lots of exhibits and some live animals as well. Foxy the Fox is super cute and there is a hawk and a turkey vulture. There is a very cool tree house that allows you to stand in the canopy and look down at the birds and other... More

I always stop at Nature Centers - and this one was a good stop. I especially enjoyed climbing around the 6 story tree house that a local senior class had built. It was amazing! The rooms were filled with science and nature items gathered from local places. They had an impressive assortment of taxidermied fowl. I also enjoyed the walking... More

Great treehouse for 4-8 year olds who like to climb. Main building has lots of good exhibits plus a couple trails with a great view of.Denison Falls. Geared for younger kids

The Cayuga Nature Center is great low-tech fun. The kids and I always have a great time climbing in the treehouse, hiking the grounds, seeing the animals and learning some fun facts about our world. Just another fun family spot in Ithaca.

This was the highlight of the sightseeing portion of our trip. It was an easy walk from the parking area to the scenic overlook. We met some locals who gave us a good history of the falls, including a story about a Rod Serling episode of a Twi light zone show that featured a picture of the Falls

Great place to hike and see the beautiful falls and check out the tree house. WE stopped on our way to somewhere else, or we would have stayed longer.

The tree-house alone, "Tree-tops" makes this a wonderful, whimsical experience in nature. The Nature Center also has an historic place in time that is interesting and unusual. Add some great hike/walks and you can enjoy one to two hours of very special "Ithaca nature"

The nature center is located in a beautiful area not far from Taughannock Falls. I went there to learn about how maple syrup is made and to sample it on a pancake breakfast! Wonderful for everybody...kids and adults.
