Lively run has some great cheese, the staff was super friendly. If you do a cheese tasting be sure to try the cheese with the local honey, don't forget to try the gelatto and stop by the barn to visit the goats.

Ten cheese tastes for $5 at this quaint, pleasant dairy. And a great opportunity to see the goats. We learned a bit, too about cheeses - and wow, a goat feta is WAY better than a cow feta!

The baby goats may be a friendly lure, the real draw here is the cheese (cow's milk and goat's milk). Vermont may think it is the cheese state but NY is right on its heels and it is because of cheeses like those being produced...More

Interesting visit - we watched the film, then saw the animals. Friendly, informative guide fed the kids goat milk from a bucket with nipples around the side. There was some cheese making activity going on inside the main building when we were there - poking...More
