Oheka is in a constant state of improvement, as it was a building that had been neglected and on the edge of ruin before it was purchased and brought back to life. The tour focuses on that. You learn the history of the man (the...More

We went yesterday and if you look at the photos on TripAdvisor - then you see the tour. Saw a ball room and the restaurant. Little historic information. NOTHING in the home is original. We basically paid $25 + tax for an advertisement to use...More

We did not stay at the hotel, we only came for the tour. The mansion and gardens or lovely, a great excursion for a crisp fall day. The restoration work is interesting, our tour guide was well-versed in the history and delivered a great tour.

OHEKA is a wonderful place to visit to see an original Gold Coast mansion that has been restored to it's original glory. Loverly property and grounds and would highly recommend the restaurant/bar for lunch or a drink.

Very educational, while getting to see the estate. Took almost 90 mins, but went fast, as there was a lot of ground to cover.
