There are some wonderful and some awful aspects to cruising with the MSC Sinfonia. We booked a balcony suite which is relatively expensive at over 20K for 4 nights. The room itself is great and the views spectacular. It's the other aspects of the ship that makes you feel let down. Service - the culture of service on the ship... More

Trip to Maputo and Portuguese Island period 10 to 14 April'17. Didn't bother with Maputo, stayed on deck and had a lovely time in the sun. Portuguese Island is good for another day in the sun. I enjoyed the music. Not much else to do on the island except for the organized excursions which seemed to be overpriced and not... More

This has been my second bhangra cruise on MSC. The first cruise was with Opera ship and this last cruise was with Sinfonia. I must compliment the organisers for the entertainment. The comedy shows were excellent. The bhangra was great. Beautiful music played by all the DJ's. The bhangra cruise is booked by majority Indians. I personally feel that the... More

We booked the themed Bhangra Cruise, departing 24th March and returning 27th March. I would like to share some tips and advice that I have picked up over the last two cruises so that future cruisers ( is that even... More

My husband and I went away with the MSC Sinfonia to the Portuguese Island over valentines day. Unfortunately due to Cyclone Dineo, we were only able to go for one day instead of about 3 days. February is blistering hot. We mainly stayed in the cool cabana on the island, we just had to fight through the vendors try get... More

I am writing this review so that people who book this trip are well informed when they travel on the MSC Sinfonia: We cruised out of Durban in March to the Portuguese Islands 1) It is not worth parking your car in long term parking, completely disorganised and it took us over 45 minutes of queuing to get into the...
